If one wedding is good then two is even better! Jessica and Sean have been married for over a year, but Sean was shipped overseas with his Army unit right after their wedding. They never really had the “big” wedding that they wanted so they chose to recite their vows this past Saturday. The event was held at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Raleigh and the reception took place at the Renaissance Raleigh North HIlls Hotel. I have to give a big shout out to the staff at the Renaissance for going out of their way to make my job easier!

Jessica and Sean were both a delight to work with as I’m sure my photos will attest. I also want to say to Sean and his buddies who served with him, “welcome home soldier and thanks for all you did!”

Alicia and Kevin exchanged their vows, on Saturday, December 10th, in one of the smallest, yet most delightful, churches I have ever seen. The Riverview Methodist Church, on Orange Factory Road in Durham is so small I could not even find an address for this place! The day was chilly but the church was packed with Alicia and Kevin’s friends and family, creating a warm and wonderful atmosphere inside.

Prior to the wedding, the couple got dressed and ready at Treyburn Country Club, just up the road from the church. Their reception was also held at the club. Johnny White and the Elite Band kept the guest rocking to some great Motown hits.

After the service, Alicia wanted a couple of shots of her and Kevin taken in the graveyard next to the church. This was a first for me but I love the shot we got! I hope you also enjoy just a few of the many other shots I captured during their special day.
