Benji and Irene are both in medical school: he is studying to become a doctor and she is about to graduate as a physician’s assistant. Beauty + brains + two of the nicest people you could ever meet = a rare combination. But what is even more unusual, is that Irene’s last name is “Gung” and Benji’s is “Ho”. They joked about having a real “Gung Ho” wedding and boy did they ever!

Photographing this wedding was a real honor for me. The groom’s brother, Jimmy, is an outstanding wedding photographer in Miami. He, of course, could not shoot his brother’s wedding so he put out the call to find another photographer. I was delighted to be selected.

Benji and Irene were married in spectacular fashion, high above Miami at the Miami Sky Terrace. The day was picture perfect. The couple had a traditional Western ceremony followed later by a Chinese tea ceremony. Benji’s brother, Jimmy even showed me a few new tricks, including a “sparkler heart”. I appreciate his help. I guess you CAN teach an old dog a thing or two!
